Your First Visit

Your first visit is an opportunity to begin building a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. It is not a test, and there are no right or wrong things to say.

During the initial session, we focus on getting to know you—your concerns, your goals, and what led you to seek support. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

What to Expect During the First Session
Your first visit may include:

  • Discussion of current concerns and symptoms

  • Review of personal history relevant to care

  • Exploration of goals and expectations

  • Explanation of how therapy works and next steps

The session moves at your pace. Questions are always welcome, and nothing is forced.
